Lovely Lidl?
If i go in Lidls I end up stuffing my face with loads of different cakes I've never heard of because they are so cheap. I just can't resist them even though I don't really like them and end up giving them away! Chickens are very reasonable and living salads are brilliant but I feel like I'm in Germany or Austria when I'm in there! Booze is so cheap it attracts the wrong sort of clientele who hang about outside!

Take back my insult
I thought this would be a really cheap and nasty shop, i never set foot in the barnstaple stores, but my first trip to the ilfracombe store was a fathers day emergency. I came out feeling quite bad about my distrust. Go Lidl! Oh, their own brand pot noodle is yummy and they have a cheap tasty wine selection.

Surprisingly good & decent value!
I now get all my shopping from Lidl it's far cheaper than the equivalent products from tesco's. Great cheap selection of salads and lots of tasty meats too.

Good for a change
Lidl has only recently opened in Ilfracombe but I'm glad it's here. The food is really cheap and they have some exciting stuff like living salads that you can regrow and the most ginormous steaks you've ever seen in your life! I wouldn't do my main shop here though,as you can't get everything you need and there are some strange foreign products on the shelves that you don't know what they are until you open it!
