I go out of may way to get my fruit and veg at Norman's because I want to support the High Street. Sometimes the greens are a bit limp, and as mentioned above, the odd soggy onion, but overall, the service is very friendly and helpful. I particularly like the way they will split a pack of herbs. They wouldn't do that in Tesco. It is so important to support our local stores because otherwise the supermarkets will take over, and when they are a monopoly, that's the end of cheap prices.

Norman's fruit and veg is better quality and cheaper than the supermarkets. Had a couple of dodgy onions once, but at least they're local.

I try and shop here all the time now. Parking is a bit of a pain but it's worth it as i find fruit and veg to be bland and pricey in the supermarkets and although its more convienient and right there in front of you, i am always disappointed and most of it gets wasted anyway. Normans produce is always fresh and tasty and well worth the extra trip.
