Aliens attack Ilfracombe?

THE discovery of an unidentified object in a school garden has shocked the residents of Ilfracombe. The object was found by Becky Beers, a teaching assistant at the school, as she went to the garden to collect teacher Miss Bowden’s handbag.

“I was terrified,” exclaimed Mrs Beers. “I had no idea it would land here. Some people say it exploded, because there were broken windows!”

In a statement last Friday, Officer Katie Simpson of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary said: “The object could be an alien missile and we might be under attack.” She added, “As of yet, we do not know if the object is a risk to human life. However, we have decided to take the utmost precautions in the best interests of public safety.”

Is this just a hoax or are there really aliens out there? The horrified residents of Ilfracombe want to know the answer. Do you?
