This reataurant is another that serves fresh food, the owner is lovely and always comes to the table to ask how the food is and takes critisism very well and positively. All the ingredients are fresh and we were told that 'nothing is frozen' the taste reflects this. A very classy restaurant with a wine bar downstairs. Just what Ilfracombe needed.

Lovely new restaurant!
I came here for a meal with a couple of friends the other night and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service was second to none. Our food came out so quickly and the lady owner told us everything is cooked and delivered fresh each day. I love the decor, the mediterranean vibe and the way everything is so clean and new! It was a very reasonable price as well, all 3 of us were stuffed full and had a bottle of wine for just £15 each-I will definitely be going back and often-highly recommended!

What a difference a few days makes!
I am hoping that this appears above my initial review of Cravings. As you can see from my earlier comments, they had some teething problems, but upon returning only a few days later for a work social evening I was staggered by the difference.
We enjoyed a hot and cold buffet and the fish and seafood were cooked to perfection.
I would be very happy to return there and have great expectations of many lovely evenings there. -
Slow, unattentive service, disappointing food
The restaurant looks very nice and we looked forward to what promised to be lovely food. We had a very wobbly table, which was addressed quickly. Wine service was prompt, but then we had an excruciating wait for our food which should have taken no more than 5 minutes to cook. After an hour we were finally given a basket of bread to stave off the worst of the hunger pangs, but then had another half hour wait before the food arrived. The chorizo should have been tried by the chef before serving, as the skin cooked to a hard plastic type coating which was inedible, the tempura was thick batter and the prawns it encased were over-cooked, the batter from the shoe string thin onion rings was trying to escape and the Spanish Omelette (which arrived 5 minutes after the rest of the food) was sloppy and the peppers near raw. It was their first official night, but I would have expected such simple food to be better cooked and presented and certainly served faster. There were hardly any customers when we arrived and 2 tables who arrived after us were served first, which added insult to injurym resulting in us threatening to leave if the food was not served within 10 minutes. Our neighbouring table actually offered us food saying "Would you like our potato wedges? Although they are not very nice. You must be starving."

We put our hands up in that mistakes were made both in the kitchen and in the front and we have taken steps to correct our teething problems.
In Adam, we have a talented young chef from Ilfracombe who we believe will evolve to be a great chef as, along with his current knowledge strengths, he is quick to learn and adapt. We apologize to him for the break down of our dish washer and fryer on the night itself.
It was indeed a pleasure to have met you again at the party at Onefyfive on Thursday and on our "Friday Nites, Live Sax with Andy Mac", last night.
We hope that you will continue to patronize our humble establishment and that we will be judged in time as we continue to evolve and better ourselves.
