Hi, I have just joined and had a little look around the site, but cannot see any posts regarding the royal wedding. I’m not trying to go all royalist on you, but it would be nice to mark the occasion. Does anyone have any events / street parties planned?

I would love to go to a street party but don't know of any happening in Combe, think everyone will just be down the Beerfest at the Landmark Fred!

There might be something on in Bicclescombe Park in the afternoon....perhaps a royal picnic in the park?....FREE Tennis possibly on offer!

Love the idea of a picnic in the park! Not too keen on the beer festival so it would be nice to have an alternative. Any more developments on this front?

Just come on down to the park, others will be there if the weather holds & there is one of the church groups coming down for an event of their own. The tennis clubhouse will be open from about midday & all the swingballs & some other park games will be out. I might even get my hands on some flags!
