Does anyone know if the carnival this year is infact 23rd August? I only ask this far in advance because I need to book my week(s) for the summer with work and would prefer to holiday in Ilfracombe during carnival week again.

That is the site I got the date from initially, BUT I wasn't sure if it was a reliable source of information, plus it seemed very vague, but now I know who the publishers are of that website I can pretty much say that date should be set in stone.
