Did anyone see the meteor shower last night? I stayed up late stargazing trying to catch a shooting star but it was cloudy by my place in combe :(

    Im glad i didnt stay awake for it then! Was considering setting an alarm and going to Hilsborough - i love shooting stars!!

    There's a chance you can see some tonight too it said on the tv news. Look to the North for best results (if any!).
    I was lucky enough to witness the shower a couple of years ago following my cousins wedding by Lake Windermere.... sweet!

    I seen many, from about 1am until 2am on friday morning, I was laid outside on my sun lounger, sleeping bag over me, Cold beer in one hand, wished after that it was hot chocolate, lol. However it was great, I believe my neighbours now think that Im stark raving mad, as I could see their curtains twitching.
    I think I saw about a dozen, some hazey and some very low and very bright, was amazing!
