Slimming clubs in Ilfracombe

Still holding on to that Christmas weight? Or maybe Pancake Day has left you feeling slightly rounder than usual? Then you may be thinking about joining a local slimming club in Ilfracombe.

Both WeightWatchers and Slimming World hold weekly classes to help you shift those pounds at Ilfracombe Infants School. WeightWatchers meetings are held on a Tuesday at 6pm and Slimming World at 5.30pm or 7pm on a Wednesday. Both classes have special offers on at the moment, to encourage people to join now that the post-xmas rush is over. At WeightWatchers you can try out your first meeting for free thanks to their current special offer which gives you your first meeting free and waives the usual registration fee. Or you can purchase a monthly pass and pay £19.95 for your first month's membership (£3.45 a week) after which the price goes up to £19.99 per month (£4.61 a week). 

At Slimming World if you join before 25th February you get half price membership reduced from £10 to £5, plus a weekly fee of £4.95. A 12 week countdown course is best value for money, giving you free membership plus two free weeks out of 12 saving you £19.90. If you're reluctant to go along alone and feel you need a bit of moral support you can receive a further discount. If five of you join together you will all get your first week membership for free. After that for each week that you bring a new member you can get a week free.

If you have quite a bit of weight to lose you may be able to get a referral from your doctor to attend Slimming World classes for free. The Slimming World on referral scheme means that GPs can 'prescribe' attendance at a Slimming World club for 12 weeks free of charge. If you are worried about your weight, make an appointment with your doctor at the Medical Centre to see if they can help.
